ReplyDeletenot really, haha. Yes, the scarlet letter idea came from the book that involved a sexually immoral woman, but it was really just a general sin statement, not sex alone. It could mean sex, if that's what someone struggles with; I try to write songs that allow people to feel what I feel from their own perspective. So my sin struggles may be totally different, but you can still understand where I'm coming from.
